  • Valid conclusion
    A conclusion supported by valid data, obtained from an appropriate experimental design and based on sound reasoning.
  • Validity
    Suitability of the investigative procedure to answer the question being asked. For example, an investigation to find out if the acceleration of an object depended upon the mass of the object would not be a valid procedure if the applied force was not controlled.
  • Variables
    These are physical, chemical or biological quantities or characteristics.
  • Vector
    A vector is a quantity which has direction as well as magnitude.
  • Vector quantities
    Vectors are quantities that are fully described by both a magnitude and a direction
  • Velocity
    The rate of change of displacement with respect to time.

    capable of injecting venom by means of a bite or sting
  • Virus
    A microorganism that is smaller than a bacterium that cannot grow or reproduce apart from a living cell. A virus invades living cells and uses their chemical machinery to keep itself alive and to replicate itself.
  • Viruses
    Infective agents that typically consist of a nucleic acid molecule in a protein coat, is too small to be seen by light microscopy, and is able to multiply only within the living cells of a host.
  • Visual Pollution
    An aesthetic issue and refers to the impacts of pollution that impair one's ability to enjoy a vista or view. Visual pollution disturbs the visual areas of people by creating negative changes in the natural environment. Examples could include: the presence of overhead power lines, motorway billboards, scarred landforms , open storage of trash, and municipal solid waste .
