Do lessons have clear learning objectives and use a wide range of teaching strategies to address the needs of learners? Are they differentiated appropriately? |
|||||
The three-part lesson is well established. Starter activities, main activities, and plenary. Adoption of WALT (Objectives) and WILF (Outcomes). More work needs to be done for all teachers to adopt a wider range of teaching strategies, and move out of a well-established (entrenched) comfort zone. More risk taking is needed. Differentiation needs more focus and emphasis for mixed-ability classes |
