Do Subject Meetings allow time for discussion of information on pupils’ outcomes and how is it used to make progress?

 

Not enough time devoted to this at the moment. The main reason is that departmental agendas for meetings can be hijacked by items set elsewhere, normally related to whole school issues. Recent  (additional) meetings have provided more opportunity to develop new resources and schemes of work for the new science curriculum. Causes for concern, highlighted by differences between target and actual grades/levels have initiated discussions related to intervention/upport  strategies
