A FAQ resource has a number of distinct advantages over a handbook.

(a)    It is interactive! Users can find information they need by searching for information using key words or phrases.

(b)   Saves time and effort in finding relevant information

(c)    New questions can be added any time by users.

(d)   Administrators can add information/answers to questions any time.

(e)    A database construction allows direct  links to be provided to other documents, such as policy documents, resources for teaching, and relevant websites.

(f)   Easily organised into sections, such as Procedures, KS3 , KS4 , Health and Safety. Each section can have a number of sub-sections. Users can browse through the sections. Or use a quick search facility.

(g)    The resource is online, allowing 24/7 access to information and resources.

(h)   Users can print the exact information they need, not a whole handbook.

(i)    Saves trees: only recycled electrons are used
