All courses encompass aspects of Science, Technology and Society. Aspects of economics are embedded in this study. At KS4 this is also embedded in the development of How Science Works. Teaching and Learning strategies have group learning activities and scenarios where students look at different aspects of a science related problem in relation to society. These often include economic aspects.

KS4 : The introduction of an Applied provides more focus on science within the work environment. Embedded within the curriculum are aspects of science within society, and economic considerations (decision making processes and discussion topics).
