Some signs. Depends on the level of relationships with the teacher. Departmental focus is on positive feedback and rewards rather than ‘punishment’ . Short-term/instant rewards , including postcards home improve behaviour. Look closely at schemes of work and activities for individuals/groups. Match with their learning strengths, not teacher preferences. The curriculum changes (initiated by the needs of pupils) have shown a considerable increase interest and enthusiasm, and attainment has improved. |
