Groups for new courses (Feb 2007)	These will be decided on the returns. The priority is that students obtain their choice, and that flexibility in teaching will be required for the new courses.	AMF
Teachers for new courses (March/April 2007)	See above. The Applied course requires teachers to go beyond the traditional physics, chemistry and biology ‘roles’ . Depending on the choices of students, there might also be a need for (some) teachers to teach more than one ‘subject’ in the Additional science course.	AMF/MJO
Schemes of work ( May/June 2007)	The first five/six weeks will be required by July. Negotiation/arrangements will be made to release teachers to prepare schemes, after Year 11 have left.	AMF/MJO
Arrangements for Year 10 ISAs	Examination entries. Planning and Organisation of the ISA week. Final entries to be given to science teachers for distribution, not form teachers. Consultation/organisation with Exam Officer for entries to AQA.	NH
Intervention Strategies Year 10 Tracking of students. Support/revision programmes.	Tracking students. Records of progress, including online records.
